ECOFOG
EcoFog system is designed for applying chemicals and supplements in the growing room.
The technology is based on using compressed air instead of electric motors.
The main advantages are reduced usage of chemicals and supplements due to the fine particle size.
With standard type electrical fogging machines the particle size is up to 10x bigger which means that they “drop out” of the air very quickly (within 20-30 minutes) which has 2 effects:
- Most product drops on the floor before it contacts the surfaces it needs to
- Duration of fogging is too short to be effective
With EcoFog; the duration of fogging is 3-4x that of a standard fogging machine
With EcoFog it the product can stay in the air for up to 4 hours coating surfaces.
Based on this, growers use less of each product being fogged and these products are applied more effectively.
